These past 10 days have been pretty hectic…but fun! Work-wise I have had a model shoot, two baby shoots, a kid party and a wedding. Janine-wise I have been to Dublin to see Take That, to London to see Dirty Dancing and back to Dublin to collect my parents from the airport as they are here for a visit from America where they live.
Conclusion:
• Take That ROCKED!! The Script were on beforehand and of course they were amazing, especially playing in Dublin in front of their Irish fans. Take That put on a magnificent show, I really couldn’t believe it.
• Dirty Dancing was soooo good. We ended up with brill seats, four rows from the front. Of course, since London traffic sucks beyond belief we were 10 mins late and received many filthy looks for our late arrival, even though we were at the end of the row and disturbed no-one. How rude! The girl who played Baby really did look like her. Johnny not so much… still hasn’t pushed Wicked off my top spot!
• I thankfully wore flats on our London trip…10 hours of partying in 5.5 inch heels would not have been good for my feet or my friends as they would have had to listen to me whining about sore feet for 8 hours of it!!
• I cannot even believe that I don’t have ‘devil eyes’ in my London pics. I always have red eye in photos - even when not one other person does. I was starting to think there was something wrong with me! This Samsung point and shoot is literally the only compact camera to make me look ‘normal’.
This week I have a model shoot, a fashion shoot and a wedding all before Friday. Good times!
