This is Freddie the Frog. He lives in our garden and come rain or shine he always has a smile on his face  lol.  It is quite an unusual shot to take, but I wanted to create a bird’s-eye view as opposed to the normal full on view. This pic was taken with the ST1000, which is a easy to use, and super camera to have fun with. I have been impressed with the quality of the images and of the general build quality. And the GPS is a fantastic bonus of course.

Curly

This Painted lady Butterfly was flying around and every now and then would land and settle before taking off again. I tried to follow   it as it settled and then positioned myself to get the best shot. I managed to capture a bonus as its proboscis  was protruding in this curly shape. I am pleased with this as a little patience paid off.

This all looks nice…

Afternoon all, my name is Lee Allen and I am a freelance photographer originally from Norwich but now living in Wolverhampton.

I started off shooting live bands and that is something that I still do but now I also now shoot everything from children to weddings to rampaging punk bands!

Since receiving my new Samsung WB1000 I have been snapping when I have the chance but from Monday I will be putting the little beauty in my pocket every time I leave the house and hopefully documenting my weeks shoots for you all.

So coming up this week I will be hopefully shooting Oasis and Suzanne Vega as well as a few commercial jobs so it should be an interesting selection of goodies.  In the meantime here are a few snippets from my sunny back garden….
